The present Privacy Policy has been elaborated by Astghik Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") in compliance with the standards of personal data processing and protection. The present Privacy Policy stipulates the Company's general provisions regulating the terms and conditions of personal data processing and ensuring the protection of the data processed by the Company.

The content of the Website and the present Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. According to the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Personal Data”, personal data shall mean any information relating to a natural person, which allows or may allow for direct or indirect identification of a person's identity.

The personal data collected through the Website shall be used only for reaching the purposes of the Company, shall be processed in conformity with the provisions of the legislation and shall not be sold to third parties. Please be assured that all the information required for your identification when using the Website will only be used as stipulated by the present Privacy Policy.

 

HOW DOES THE WEBSITE COLLECT DATA ABOUT YOU?

 

1. PASSIVE DATA COLLECTION

1.1. The Website collects certain data from you through special automated technologies designed to track your use of the Website, such as cookies and log files.

1.2. The mentioned technological means enable to track the number of people using the Website, yet such actions do not reveal your identity.

1.3. Those technologies make it possible to obtain general information and to track the location of your PC/mobile device in order to manage the system on the Internet and solve the problems encountered.

1․5. The Center does not use cookies to collect personal information; they are used solely to track the "traffic" of visitors and users of the Website.

1․6. The Website collects and stores certain information in log files. This information includes general data obtained, such as Internet Protocol Address (IP), Browser Type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Platform Type, Time and Date, intended for aggregated use.

 

2․ ACTIVE DATA COLLECTION (DATA PROVIDED BY YOU)

2․1. You hereby give your consent to providing your personal data when using the Website, including, but not limited to, name, surname, date of birth, e-mail address, phone number, bank card details and other data that can be collected automatically.

2․2. You hereby give your consent to the following: the information provided by you that is considered as personal data, shall be used only for the provision of the Company’s services, ensuring necessary protection, person identification and for reaching all the purposes that are related to the activities of the service.

 

3․USE OF DATA

3.1. Your personal data is stored in protected networks and is not publicly available. According to the principle of minimum engagement of subjects in personal data processing, stipulated by the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Personal Data”, your data is available only to a limited number of persons who have special access to the mentioned systems and are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the mentioned information. 

3.2. You hereby give us your consent to inform other users of our Website, who have a registered account and your e-mail address in their contact list, on the fact that the e-mail address is already registered and, therefore, is not available for them.

3.3. The company cooperates with "National e-Health Operator" CJSC (Armed), which is the e-health system managing operator in Armenia. You give your consent to make your data, which is subject to regulation by this system, available for the "National e-Health Operator" CJSC. 

 

4. THE RIGHT OF THE DATA SUBJECT TO RECEIVE INFORMATION REGARDING HIS/HER PERSONAL DATA

4.1 The data subject has the right to receive information about the processing of their personal data, including the following:

1) Confirmation of the fact of processing their personal data and the purpose of such processing;

2) Methods of processing the personal data;

3) The scope of the subjects who have been or may be provided with the mentioned personal data;

4) List of processed personal data and the source of obtaining them;

5) The timeframes of processing personal data;

6) Possible legal consequences for the data subject as a result of processing the mentioned personal data.

4.2. The company is guided by the following principles when processing personal data.

1. Legality of purposes and means of processing and reliability of data;
2. Ensuring the legality of personal data processing, which implies processing the data upon the consent of the data subject,
3. The conformity of the intended and actual processing purposes;
4. Conformity of the volume, nature, means of processing and purposes of personal data processing;
5. Sufficiency of data for processing purposes;
6. Notification of the users of the data systems about the legal and secure ways of processing of personal data;
7. Accuracy, integrity, reliability and security of personal data in data systems;
8. Informing the data subject about the processing of his/her personal data and significant legal consequences as a result thereof, providing him/her with the opportunity to influence the accuracy and integrity of that data;
9. Permanent internal control of personal data processing, readiness to undergo state inspections of processes and systems of personal data processing.

 

5. MEDICAL SECRECY

5.1. All data concerning the personal health of the patient, including information and documents containing medical secrecy, are stored in the electronic database of "Astghik" Medical Center. That database is attached to the personal “Profile” (Cabinet) of the user/patient, enabling them to easily access all the information and documents regarding their health condition (examination results, doctor's appointments, epicrisis, payment history, etc.).

5.2. Those documents and data that are stored in the medical center in a non-electronic “hard copy”, are subject to processing, scanning and placement in the personal "Profile" of the patient by the treating doctor, taking into consideration the principle of minimum engagement of subjects in personal data processing, stipulated by the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Personal Data”.

5.3 The access to documents and data in the personal «Profile» is available only to the patient and the treating doctor; however, upon the patient’s consent, it can become available to another doctor as well in the amount agreed by the patient and in compliance with the established procedure. This exception is envisaged for the provision of complete and sufficient medical services to the patient.

 

6․ CHAT MESSAGES AND VIDEOCALLS

6․1 You hereby give your consent to the storage of the messages of the “Chat” window in the Company’s relevant server, even after being deleted by the parties.

6․2 We hereby inform you that videocalls are being recorded and are later stored in the relevant servers of "Astghik" Medical Center, even after being deleted by the parties.

6.3. Chat messages and the recorded videocalls of the user/patient and the doctor are not subject to editing, modification, and are prohibited from being transferred to third parties, except in cases provided for by Law, that is, by a court decision, judgment or verdict.

 

7.SOS

7.1. You hereby give your consent to the following: in case you are not able to dial our Company to make an SOS call, the relevant departments of the Ambulance Service, Police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations will arrive at your SOS as soon as possible. The address of the caller will be detected according to his/her geolocation.

 

8. PAYMENT SYSTEM

8.1. The services provided by "Astghik" Medical Center can be paid both online and by visiting the medical center.

8․2. When inserting your bank card details at our Website for an online payment, please be assured that the Company complies with all legal regulations regarding the documents and data that are considered as banking secrecy.

8.3. "Astghik" Medical Center is guided by the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Banking Secrecy", according to which bank secrecy disclosure is prohibited by a person, organization, public authority or official who have been entrusted in keeping such information, have become informed about it during their service or working activity or have been provided with such information in a manner prescribed by the present Law.

 

9. FINAL PROVISIONS

9.1 The present Privacy Policy can be changed unilaterally at any time without prior notification. You will be notified about the changes of Privacy Policy via a e-mail, provided that you are subscribed to our newsletters.

9.2. The present Policy as well as all amendments thereof shall be approved by the General Manager of the Company and shall enter into force upon their publication on the Company's website: http://www.mcastghik.com.

9.3 From the moment of entry into force of the present Policy, its previous editions shall be considered invalid.
