Oncology department
The oncology department covers almost the entire range of oncology services, from diagnosis and treatment to prevention, enlightenment, psychological support and palliative care.
Based on our policy of showing an individual approach to each patient, the department regularly holds discussions with the oncology group (Tumor board), in particular with oncologists, surgeons, histologists, radiologists, so each new, individual treatment plan of malignant tumors are developed by the team.
The department provides medical and consulting services, guided by the International Guidelines for the Treatment of Malignant Tumors (ESMO, ASCO, NCCN, RUSSCO), using cytostatics, hormone and target therapy, including all modern therapies, immunotherapy, pump regulating injections of dosage of the drug substance, via a special PortoCad and etc.
There is also a psychologist service in the department, in order to provide psychological support to the patients and their relatives in the pre-chemotherapy period, to increase the efficiency of the treatment and rehabilitation process.
