Department of Invasive Cardiology
In the department following interventions are performed:
➤Diagnostic coronary angiography
➤Angioplasty of coronar arteries (also with drug-coated balloons)
➤Stenting of coronary arteries with bare-metal and drug-eluting stents of new generation
➤PCI in acute coronary syndrome
➤PCI in multivessel disease
➤LM stenting
➤SVG stenting
Diagnostic angiography of peripheric vessels:
➤Renovasography and renal arteries stenting
➤Angiography of peripheric vessels
➤Peripheric arteries stenting in diabetes (below the knee)
The chief of the service is Narine Godjabashyan, who was the first in Armenia to perform multi-stenting, stenting of the left main stem, bifurcation stenting, as well as stenting of acute infarction. The doctors of the department are members of the European Association of Interventional Cardiology, who regularly undergo different international trainings.
