Insurance service

Attaching importance to the development of the medical insurance sector in the Republic of Armenia, the medical insurance service has been established and operates in the "Astghik" MC, which closely cooperates with both local and international insurance companies of Armenia.
Within the framework of medical insurance, thousands of citizens of Armenia have the opportunity to receive consultations at the "Astghik" MC, undergo outpatient examinations, followed by outpatient/inpatient treatment.
The joint coordinated work of the employees of the insurance service of the "Astghik" MC and the employees of insurance companies makes it possible to organize the examination of patients and begin their treatment in a matter of minutes.
In the "Astghik" MC, people with medical insurance are provided with an individual approach:
- the patient is free from paperwork,
- is served in a separate examination room designated for the service,
- receives the answers to diagnostic and laboratory tests
directly from the service employee.
During a planned visit, the patient must contact the insurance company in advance, fill out a statement, and then be referred to the clinic.

In urgent cases, he immediately applies to the medical center. The insured person has the right to choose the medical institution where he wants to undergo examination or treatment.

The medical insurance service at "Astghik" Medical Center also serves the beneficiaries of the social package, who have the opportunity to receive free diagnostic and medical services in accordance with the procedure established by law.
When applying to the clinic on a planned basis, the beneficiaries of the social package must
present:
• passport,
• certificate,
• referral from an outpatient-polyclinic institution /form N1/,
• certificate on activation of the social package.
In urgent cases, the beneficiary of the social package must immediately apply to the medical center, receive the necessary treatment, and submit the relevant documents in the process.
