Computer tomography is performed with modern Siemens Definition Flash and Siemens Somatom Emotion devices. They are designed to carry out extensive research, providing complete diagnostic results. Computed tomographic devices also provide an opportunity to obtain accurate images during cardiology examinations.

With the devices it is possible to examine various organ-systems, in particular

• head (brain, skull bones, nasal cavities, temple bones, eye sockets)

• musculoskeletal system

• chest organs: lungs, septum organs

• abdominal and pelvic organsorgans of the gastrointestinal system

• aorta and vessels

• lymphatic system

 • neck organs

One of the best advantages of the Siemens Definition Flash and Siemens Somatom Emotion scanners is the minimal radiation dose, resulting in ultra-precise results.

Siemens SOMATOM Definition Flash allows to examine the whole body, optimizes the scanning time, using the minimum radiation dose.

Chest scanning takes 0.6 seconds and it is possible to obtain clear images while the patient is breathing, without the need to hold the breath, which is a great advantage for examining trauma and critically ill patients, obtaining accurate results.

SOMATOM Definition Flash enables whole heart scanning, assesses cardiac morphology and coronary and pulmonary vasculature without the use of beta blockers.
